What is DAN?

For scuba divers worldwide, DAN means safety, health and peace of mind. The Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a global network of not-for-profit, member-based, dive safety organisations working to enhance dive safety for all recreational divers.

DAN provides Worldwide Emergency Evacuation Coverage and optional Dive Injury Insurance Services for Members; is responsible for funding and/or manning 24-hour diving emergency hotlines; offers non-emergency diving medical advice, accident management training; and undertakes data collection & research.

We at B&J Diving Centre are committed to diver safety and we are a proud DAN AP (DAN Asia Pacific) supporter. In order to improve diver safety, we believe each diver should be trained in Oxygen provision for first aid. All our staff are DAN trained.
