B&J Diving Centre is a pioneer in teaching scuba diving to children. We trained the first and youngest certified PADI Sealteam Divers in Malaysia back in 2002. Today, we are working closely with KidsScuba, a Kuala Lumpur based company specialized in teaching scuba diving to your children.
If your children are between 8 and 12 years old, we can either conduct a PADI Bubblemaker program (1/2 day scuba experience) or even the SSI Scuba Rangers program (3 day course) for them. Children from the age of 10 can already become PADI Junior Open Water Divers.
We emphasize for a family environment program as we also conduct PADI Junior Open Water courses and all other PADI courses for teenagers and parents.
KidsScuba had organized the first ever KidsScuba Camp in Malaysia together with B&J on the lovely Tioman Island back in 2005. Since then, KidsScuba Camp was held on Tioman every year and we even set a world record with the most children in the water ever. Today, KidsScuba Camp is conducted on every Malaysian School holiday at various Islands in Malaysia including Tioman Island.
Whenever Kids Scuba is coming to Tioman we organize something special for the kids. Usually we focus on environmental conservation education and as such we have conducted beach clean-ups, coral transplantation, mangrove forest tours and more.
KidsScuba Camp 2007 was something very special. We've organized a pirate treasure hunt where the kids had to find parts of a treasure map on every dive which they finally put together on Coral Island. The whole B&J team dressed as pirates and we had a chocolate gold treasure chest burried on the island. The kids loved the games but even more so did they love the chocolate...
