For 2005 the international cleanup day was held together with the Tioman Marine Park Crown of Thorns collection. The Crown of Thorns (COT) is a coral eating star fish and during the 3 days of cleaning up, we have collected over one thousand COT on different reefs around Coral Island. It is clear that we have to organize further collection to prevent an outbreak of COT on our beautiful dive sites.
