The local Marine Park organizes annually a collection of the Crown of Thorns starfish on the reefs around Tioman Island. With this annual project and our own collections during the season we try to keep our reefs healthy and alive. On this event in the Malaysian Marine Park Tioman, all dive centers of the island are invited to volunteer for the collection of the COT. They are asked to bring their staff and customers for a 3 day expedition where the divers are split in groups to cover all dive sites around Tioman. B&J Diving Centre in Salang and ABC is dedicating these 3 days every year for the collection of the COTs.
