Seeing the great advantages Nitrox can contribute to the safety and enjoyment of sports divers, major international training agencies have now taken up EANx into their training program. More and more dive centers and resorts now have Nitrox available.

Recreational divers use mixtures up to 40% oxygen and 60% nitrogen (EAN40). However the most commonly used standard mixtures are now EAN32 and EAN36.

Technical divers are using any mixture of up to 100% oxygen in order to reduce decompression obligation and to increase safety.
