PADI Project AWARE stands for Aquatic World Awareness and Responsibility. It is a non profit organization dedicated to conserving underwater environments through education, advocacy and action. Project AWARE combats challenges facing aquatic resources in 175 countries with direct support from us divers and water enthusiasts. The reefs around the globe are under constant threat and they need our help. If it's polution, overfishing, reef destruction or shark finning, all problems are man made and we are the only ones who can change something.
B&J has been there from the beginning and has helped maintain our healthy coral by organizing regular environmental events such as cleanup days, COT (Crown Of Thorns) collections and more. We need you to come and participate in those events!
B&J has been awarded several times by PADI as a “Project AWARE Environmental Achievement Award Winner” and has won the prestigious PADI Asia Environmental Aware in 2008. B&J is also a “Go-Eco Operator” and a “Longitude 181 Ambassador”, promoting environmentally safe diving with a strict no glove and no touch policy.
