Salang Bay and ABC Beach have a great variety of local cuisine, if its fresh seafood, BBQ chicken or some great curries that you're craving, you'll have no problem satisfying your taste buds.

For those who really want to try local dishes the little food stalls between the jetty and our dive centre in Salang offer Satay (BBQ chicken or beef sticks marinated in honey with peanutbutter sauce), nasi campur (mixed rice), Nasi Beriani (yellow Rice with different curries), Mee Kari (noodles in a soup of curry, chicken and mussels) or Laks Penang (a noodlesoup), cooked the way locals enjoy it; definitely worth the visit!

Salang's seven restaurants serve food from 7:30am until 9:30pm. A decent meal will cost you between RM10 and RM30.
